Das Glück

Ein glücklicher Familienvater verliebt sich in eine andere Frau. Als er es seiner Ehefrau gesteht, bringt sie sich um, und die andere nimmt ihren Platz ein. Die zweite Ehe wird von dem Selbstmord nicht belastet und entwickelt sich so liebevoll wie auch schon die Erste begann. Dieser Film ist unter den französischen Kritikern besonders umstritten, weil seine Regisseurin ihn in einer seltsamen Schwebe hält und die Offenbarung eines eigenen Standpunkts vermeidet: Es ist nicht auszumachen, ob sie die dort vorgeführten bürgerlichen Glücksvorstellungen eher kritisch beobachtet oder idealisiert.
