暗黑兽想起辉二就是自己的弟弟，于是质问基路比兽。基路比兽让他去憎恨辉二，再次使其心里充满黑暗力量。在巴达兽指引下，波高兽和提问兽与拓也会合并跟着巴达兽去找辉二。此时辉二遭到黑鹰兽的突袭。黑鹰兽又变回暗黑兽，告诉辉二他就是辉二的双胞胎哥哥木村辉一，而后更将战狼兽打退化并再次进化成黑鹰兽打算致辉二于死地。拓也及时赶到救下辉二并听到这个惊异的真相。他鼓励辉二去拯救辉一，但辉二无法与辉一战斗。拓也只好一人与黑鹰兽战斗，但处于下风。看到努力的火龙兽，辉二终于下定决心进化成战狼兽，与火龙兽同心协心打败黑鹰兽并将两个暗之魂扫描。这时拓也发现，辉一就是他在回到现实世界时看到的那个人……
